A new framework agreement has been defined with our partner Castello Italia S.p.A.
Expansion of the photovoltaic system and redevelopment of the management offices.
In recent weeks, a new investment framework agreement has been finalized between the leadership of INVECO HOLDING S.p.A. and CASTELLO ITALIA S.p.A., concerning the expansion of the photovoltaic plant and the refurbishment of the management offices.
As previously mentioned in the analysis on December 14, 2023, click here to read - the Long-Term planning is progressing in line with the year-end commitments.
With this new agreement, the CEO of INVECO HOLDING S.p.A. aims to underscore the professional value being implemented.
NDR Dr. Filippo Barbetti - "It is with immense gratitude that we announce the new activities that will begin in the coming days, initiatives aimed at improving the industrial site of Castelmorano (CR). We strongly wanted to establish a long-term professional relationship with our client as strategically it was the best choice. When dealing with top-level counterparts and industrial entities like Araymond, you cannot just focus on short-term financial gains; instead, you must envision providing your partner with a variety of interconnected services capable of solving technical issues on one hand and creating value on the other. With Castello Italia SpA, business dealings must necessarily be 'win-win'."
What we have done
> By the end of 2022, we completed the installation of the 602 kW photovoltaic system, which in 2023 generated a total of 651,240 kWh of green energy, making our client 30% independent.
> Last Autumn, we revamped both heavy traffic roadways and the internal parking area within the plant, undoubtedly enhancing the functionality of daily logistics operations and site access. Essentially, a second access for trucks has been established, independent from the entrance used by employees, clients, and visitors, along with the creation of a new internal parking lot with 36 parking spaces.
What we will do:
> The office refurbishment project is in the definition phase; objectives and spending budget have been set. According to the schedule, the engineering phase will engage us between March and April, while the actual redevelopment works may commence at the end of May and last a total of 12 months.
> Meanwhile, the 240 kW expansion of the photovoltaic system has essentially already begun.
From the photo, we show you the completion of the ground leveling where the new photovoltaic section will be constructed.
On this portion of land, we will install concrete weights on which 240 photovoltaic modules will be installed with an East/West orientation.
This choice is essentially made to provide the customer with higher efficiency during morning and afternoon hours, almost completely eliminating grid injections.
With this new section, Castello Italia SpA will be able to self-produce approximately 1,000,000 kWh and will be 35% self-sufficient from the national electrical grid.
The choice to implement a ground-based and ballasted system was made based on the principles of versatility and repositioning.
Indeed, it is not excluded that in the long term Castello Italia S.p.A. may carry out a production expansion of 1,500 square meters on this portion of land.
With this in mind, it has already been planned that the current system will be deactivated for three to four months, and then repositioned on the new industrial roof.
To conclude, we emphasize the General Contractor approach that we aimed to establish in our partnership.
Indeed, only through planning, updating, simulating, and conducting feasibility studies can we now speak of achieved objectives and mutual satisfaction for the initiatives undertaken, where everyone has gained something tangible and sustainable from all angles.
The framework agreement between INVECO HOLDING S.p.A. and CASTELLO ITALIA S.p.A. marks a significant step forward in expanding the photovoltaic system and refurbishing the executive offices, highlighting a joint commitment to energy efficiency and environmental sustainability.
With a strategic approach focused on establishing a long-term relationship and adopting innovative solutions, where both parties derive concrete and sustainable benefits, investment in green infrastructure and the modernization of workspaces reflects the common commitment to creating added value and fostering long-term growth.
