Ferrotramviaria S.p.A.: installation work on the photovoltaic system has begun

As anticipated in last Friday's news, the photovoltaic project for the Ferrotramviaria S.p.A. has reached its execution stage.

The installation works, in the Bari Scalo (BA) plant, will begin on Tuesday 14 March and will end in a very short time. The connection and testing of the plant is scheduled for March 31st.

 

 

The plant will develop a nominal power of 140 kWh and will consist of 248 Jinko Solar modules of 565 watts and 1 Huawei inverter of 100 ktl.

 

 

Thanks to solar energy, Ferromtraviaria Spa will immediately guarantee savings of more than 30% per year on energy costs, also actively contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.

The ecological transition towards renewables, and specifically towards solar/photovoltaic, is growing rapidly in Italy according to the latest InFotovoltaico report by GSE.
